Most of his height seems to be taken up by his legs, which were once described as looking "like someone put a rock in a tube sock and it got stuck halfway down." In addition to his height he's painfully skinny, with the apparent BMI of Slenderman. Mike's hair looks like something that looks like it might house rats, and permanently devours all combs that come near it. His voice sounds like this. About 90% of the time his tone is a shifting blend of whiny, urgent, and pissed-off, unless your name happens to rhyme with Bill or Gel.

Noticeable at first glance is Mike's limp. He had a devastating crush injury in Deerington which didn't receive the long-term treatment it needed, and healed badly, leaving him with a limited range of motion from his right knee all the way down to his toes. He can walk on it with difficulty, but mostly uses a crutch. If he isn't wearing gloves it's also noticeable that he's missing essentially half of his left hand, including his pinky and ring fingers. Lastly, his nose is crooked from another break that healed wrong.

Mike's personality is a bit abrasive, especially to people he doesn't know and doesn't want to know. Don't take it personally if he's rude (or downright mean) to your character at first - he doesn't want to know most people here, as desperate as he still is to leave. This is all especially true if your character is older than him, since he's distrusting of adults. Trying to help him will be like giving a cat medicine, so put on some gloves and have some patience. After Mike's years in Deerington, he's generally much quicker to ease up after this initial wall of hostility than he was straight out of canon.
