I have enjoyed seeing your reactions to the game! It's such an emotional game that cuts deep and doesn't pull its punches, but that just adds to the beauty of its story imo!! Dare I ask who has been pulling your fancy? 👀

Oh yes! See that's great, especially if Barnabas and Dimitri form CR before the canon update, and then it's like Dimitri gets some confirmation bias about how terrible things are with everything that happens to him... Barnabas is very...grim and distrusting of people, he sees the worst in them because that's been his primary experience. Which could lead them down some interesting CR paths, as Barnabas is wont to encourage people towards distrusting others and isolation. Especially if that person is supernatural.

I really like how it doesn’t pull punches!! It’s very adult centered and adult geared and I am so glad! The tears flow free, but it’s a good pain.

I don’t want to get any hopes up, so bear in mind this is very preliminary…. So far, Joshua is pretty high, but I haven’t met adult him yet, so it’s hard to be concrete there. I also love Clive, but I’m not sure I want two brooding lordlings. And, while I have only seen this man twice, I am interested in whoever this is:

Ohhh, that could be fun to play with! Grimdark distrusting not-quite bros. And Dimitri’s strength is very supernatural, so he does fall into that category ✨ Also, it may be neat to see Barnabus witness young Dimitri with his optimism and brighter outlook (although a lot of this is masking, but he wishes it was true), which he would encourage Barnabus to foster, turn grim and murderous. Like a star winking out. Would this be confirmation bias for Barnabus? Would it be a little disheartening? What, if anything, would he do about it? Much to consider. ✨

The sound I made seeing this image... I can only hope that he grips you tight with his slender hands because I love him so, so dearly!! Barnabas would be as excited as he can be about his arrival 😌

Honestly, Barnabas would expect as much, and would take that more as Dimitri growing wise to the world and its ways, simply the natural conclusion to life. Disheartening is a word for it, but it is also confirming of how he views the world and what it has to promise. If anything, he would see a part of himself in that dead star, nothing but a dark void where something once brilliantly shined...

Would that I could have heard it. 🤭 But, yeah, this man spoke and he slunk and he swiveled and he threatened and 🤌🤌🤌. But I have been given very little at the point where I am in the game. Only time will tell.

I’m also aware someone else may have their eyes on Joshua, and I would hate to step on toes, so there is that to contend with as well. 🤔

That was… beautifully written. Very heart wrenching. -clutches chest- I hope this CR pans out. Also, if someone helps Dimitri down the road towards his redemption Barnabas would be in his line of sight and might get dragged down it with him. Dimitri has a very caring heart, which tends to be his ultimate downfall, but also a great strength. Be careful Barnabas.

Of course, the game is best experienced as unspoiled as possible! I hope when you see more of him, you find him as wonderful as I do. I love a fiesty twink.

I know they would also be excited to play off of Mr Twink here, in fact I know Horse would also be excited, we all love him and it's rare to find one for some reason! But no pressure, by all means play who calls to you, just know you'll be warmly received regardless of who you play!

Hahah thanks ❤! It helps that a lot of how I view Barnabas is in cosmic terms like that. He is kind of a blackhole, tbh... but wow! Barnabas is not interested in this redemption nonsense, thank you very much, Cid is already trying to appeal to his better nature and he's kinda put off! Worse yet if someone he can sorta relate to tries to use that against him 😩... Barnabas has a caring heart in his own way, but man it does not seem like it for Reasons. But the details surrounding that is going into spoiler town, so I'll just leave it at that hahaha!

Wow, I got lucky on the metaphor then. ✨ Dimitri can be pretty flowery in his head and it comes out when I speak about him. Ohhhh a secret weapon against Barnabas, ey? Perfect. Although, Cid will have a hell of a time dealing with two of them. Yuri will also have his hands full if he gets dragged into being involved via him trying to save Dimi. That man keeps believing in the best of him, much to Dimitri’s frustration.

And I can’t wait to learn more about Joss Sweden!! He’s very mysterious and also asinine, so I am sure I am going to love him. Probably hate and love him, but you know how it goes. 😌
