I've got to wonder if Wayne is "new" money or "old" money. Although... [ She glances out the shop's doors to the stormy, deserted landscape outside. ] ...with how deserted this place is, I doubt anything here is that old.

[ She starts pacing. Thoughts percolate better when the body is moving. Riz should know this well. He's even more pace-inclined than she is. ]

What we have to figure out is, was this place inhabited at one point, and something happened to clear everyone out? Or is it somehow brand new and just not populated yet?
