[ Sleipnir thought he had made the motion subtle enough to not be caught doing it, but it seems Clive is too attentive... While unintended the attention his savior pays him makes the wine taste even sweeter. He even thinks his breathing may have hitched for a moment. But even more interesting than Mythos' attention on his lips are the words the man dispenses from them. This conversation is... surprisingly engaging... ]

Hmm? I do not consider myself a poet... I was merely using a metaphor to better understand your conception... But, I will grant you His Majesty does use a higher form of language when he speaks. It is impressive, yes?

[ The tickle of pleasure runs through Sleipnir once more when Lord Rosfield orders a refill and not a different beverage. It seems he gaged his savior's tastes well... However, the confusion is not intended. Perhaps there is something off in his manner of speech after all. There was trouble earlier when Sleipnir was conversing with the Warden of Light too. He fights the urge to drop his gaze down to his glass again; he wants to keep holding Clive's gaze. Sleipnir hums in thought at how to best phrase his query, searching in the other's eyes instead of his wine glass. ]

...I suppose I am confused with your wording of "just sex". [ why is this harder to do while looking into his eyes? ] ...I find there is always something more going on when having sex with someone, even when it is not of the romantic nature. ...Some sort of tension? Or need? And then adding this concept of it being potentially romantic to cater to their desires... [ Finally Sleipnir breaks eye contact to drop it to his glass and wonders if the act of catering is romantic. ] Hmm. I do not think I am being clear. There is nothing small or lesser when it comes to having sex without a relationship. A intimate connection is still made...?

[ He looks back up to Clive, his brow is pinched, and he looks uncertain. Sleipnir is struggling to explain the antithesis of something he doesn't understand, but to explain that he would need better understanding of the thing he is asking about. He hopes at least a little sense was made. ]
