While the crane games might use plushes to set GP values, they are not released from their game directly, as the Gold Saucer games only offer GP as direct rewards. The actual plushes that are won by characters would be purchased from the counter, as that's where the prizes are located. These plushes can be kept should a character be accepted into the game.
