It was a dream, it had to have been a fucking dream.
But the way Carver is responding tells him it wasn't.
He doesn't know how that's possible. Carver survived a blade to the heart and Bossie survived burning alive.
They're here, clinging to each other. "I'm okay," he gasps but he's not. He holds onto Carver and sobs.
