Given the fact that everyone seems to want him and his power at the moment, he finds keeping to himself a little more easier than seeking the help of or trusting others. Going to the Avengers led him to the X-Men again which led to X-Force and now Sinister has him. With the number of people he keeps losing in his life that he cares about, going it alone really does seem like the more painless option.
But he snaps out of his thoughts when it's his turn and steps away from her to spin the wheel. He marvels at it a little for a moment before he actually spins the thing and watches the way the numbers brightly change one after another as it goes; he's still getting used to things and places like this.
