[Maria becomes aware of a warm presence sitting next to her on the end of the bed and an arm slipping around her. She was rigid at first, but soon leaned into Blaze, focusing on the screen intently.

Her Shadow was trying to get through to the other Shadow, who understandably was having none of it. He kept speaking of numbers. Something about numbers on the bookshelf. She frowned, considering. The emerging puzzle (and the fact that her Shadow wasn't still trying to kill the other) helped calm her sort of. At least enough to pique her interest. Her heart went out to the other Shadow though. Even she could recognize someone in pain.] Numbers...on the bookshelf.

I wish we could have a better view of it. When it comes to books, the only thing I know is that in libraries books are sorted with the Dewey Decimal System. But...this could be something else.
