[ bright red streaks light up within the darkness like a warning telling shadow he shouldn't have engaged. the punch catches the older hedgehog, right in his muzzle and it's with a sharp turn of his head and sliding back, the water helping him not slide that far away.
the taste of blood pulls into his mouth, and it's with a click of his tongue that the older hedgehog spits saliva into the water. he stands there, pain rushing through his body until he turns his head to face the other. the sound of a growl rumbles from his throat, and there's this spark of anger inside of him.
it's in an instance that he disappears before reappearing in front of the younger hedgehog, his hands grabbing at the other's wrist to force him back on the table they're next to. not to break it, but to pin him there.
