When my brother returned from his battle with Odin, he told me that the king truly, genuinely believed that in following Ultima's plan, he would be granting humanity mercy. Saving them from lives of suffering and cruel despair. If the entity that brought us here intends to gauge our world's worth by what we do to preserve it, should they not wish to examine opposing views of such an endeavor before they pass judgment? Perhaps they even seek to determine whether we are capable of reconciling these views, enough at least to agree upon a means to prove that Valisthea is worthy of existence.
