His ears merely twitch when she tells him she wanted to know more about him as well. A small part of him wanted her to know, understand, but a larger part of him didn't want any of it to come out. Relive it all again, the life after Maria's passing was nothing but more misery and mistakes. The amount of kindness she has given to him, once again feels undeserved. It's probably a good thing he isn't looking at them while they talk. The hollow emptiness he's been feeling would start to overwhelm him, knowing he can't share another intimate moment with his Maria. Would he even be able to face her?
