All things considered, this wasn't as much of a letdown as it could have been. And it certainly wasn't as disappointing for her as it would be for some of the others. Zoro would be irritated for sure. Luffy could go either way, really, though she supposed it would depend a lot upon his mood. And Sanji- well, he would probably be overjoyed by this opportunity.
But none of them had cropped up, and Nami had all but made peace with the fact that she'd be doing this on her own. Which was why it was so surprising to hear her name in a voice she didn't quite recognize.
