“One of us was worthy?” There is clear disbelief in his tone. Loki has seen much in his life. He knows now that he is more than Odin ever thought he could be, but that is the point right there. Odin would never consider him worthy and it is his magic that Mjolnir is imbibed with. The Infinity Stones actually make a lot more sense to him than wielding Thor’s hammer. “I am truly surprised that any of us would even want to.”

Loki can only nod. So much seems to go over the heads of many. “I tend to think most do not pay attention. It is rather frustrating, but does make it nice when you find people who are not like that.” It doesn’t happen often, but it has helped the few times Loki has met such people.

“On a few occasions? So it is possible to have someone else take over?” That is probably the most hopeful news he’s heard in quite some time. Both because maybe he can see his friends and family again, and because it doesn’t mean everything is for sure going to Hel back in his time.
