He glances up and shakes his head. The chicken remains in place.

"I didn't bring them with me...they just appeared." He attempts to set down his tray on a table with a chicken in the way - the tray just passes through it. The chicken ruffles its feathers and tilts its head at him. "Maybe the food caused them?"
